Museum and Libraries Professional Assessment (MLPA)
Museum and Libraries Professional Assessment (MLPA) is a specialized evaluation by the Chartered Culture and Education Institute that measures expertise in managing, curating, and developing museums and library institutions. The assessment consists of 60 multiple-choice questions and 20 scenario-based quizzes, testing both theoretical knowledge and real-world application. Aligned with global standards, it covers collection management, public engagement, digital transformation, preservation strategies, and institutional leadership.
Who Can Attend: Professionals and mid-career practitioners in museum, library, and related cultural sectors.
Certification Path:
- Completing only the assessment grants the MLPA Assessment Completion Certificate.
- Complete the Museum Professional Executive Certificate and Libraries Professional Executive Certificate, then pass this assessment to earn the Certified Museum and Libraries Professional Certificate.
