Terms of Reference

1. Purpose

This Terms of Reference (ToR) outlines the terms, responsibilities, and mutual expectations between the Chartered Culture and Education Institute (CCEI) and individuals who engage with its offerings, including self-paced certifications, in-person or online training programs, mentorship and coaching services, events, and membership.

2. Scope

This ToR applies to all CCEI service users (hereinafter referred to as “Participants”) across the following service types:

- Self-paced Certification Programs

- Online and In-Person Trainings

- Mentorship and Coaching Services

- Cultural and Educational Events (e.g., forums, workshops, summits)

- Membership and Affiliation with CCEI

3. General Conditions of Participation

Participants agree to:

- Provide accurate and complete information during registration.

- Abide by CCEI’s code of conduct and ethical guidelines.

- Respect the rights and contributions of fellow participants and facilitators.

- Use materials and resources provided strictly for personal, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise permitted.

4. Self-Paced Certification Programs

Participants in self-paced programs must:

- Complete all modules and assessments independently within the access period granted.

- Use the official learning platform credentials for personal use only.

- Not share course materials publicly or privately without written permission from CCEI.

Certificates will be issued upon successful completion of all requirements. No refunds are provided after access has been granted.

5. Events (Workshops, Forums, Webinars, Conferences)

Participants must:

- Register prior to the event and follow any event-specific guidelines.

- Be respectful of speakers, facilitators, and fellow attendees.

- Refrain from recording or distributing content without prior authorization.

Tickets are non-transferable unless otherwise stated. Refund policies are event-specific and will be communicated during registration.

6. In-Person and Online Trainings

Training participants are expected to:

- Attend all scheduled sessions (live or recorded as applicable).

- Complete exercises and contribute actively to group work if included.

- Adhere to any safety protocols in the case of physical training venues.

Refunds or substitutions may be requested according to the specific training’s refund policy.

7. Mentorship and Coaching

Participants in CCEI mentorship or coaching services agree to:

- Engage openly, respectfully, and confidentially in sessions.

- Honor scheduled session times and notify their mentor/coach in advance if changes are needed.

- Not record or redistribute sessions without consent.

Fees are non-refundable once the first session is held. Missed sessions without notice may not be rescheduled.

8. Membership

Members of CCEI agree to:

- Uphold the mission and values of the Institute.

- Maintain active status through the timely payment of dues.

- Refrain from misusing the CCEI name or affiliation for personal or commercial benefit.

CCEI reserves the right to revoke membership in cases of misconduct, policy violations, or reputational harm.

9. Code of Conduct

Across all services, participants are expected to:

- Act with professionalism, inclusivity, and integrity.

- Avoid any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior.

- Represent their affiliation with CCEI truthfully and ethically.

10. Intellectual Property

All CCEI materials—including course content, recordings, handouts, and resources—are protected intellectual property. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

11. Data Protection & Communication

CCEI protects the privacy of all users. Personal information collected will be used solely for communication, learning management, certification, and internal reporting.

Official communication will be via email and/or the learning portal. Participants are responsible for checking their provided contact information regularly.

12. Refund & Cancellation Policies

CCEI’s refund policy varies by service type. Unless otherwise stated:

- Self-paced programs: Non-refundable after access is granted.

- Events: Refunds available only before the cutoff date listed on the event registration page.

- Trainings: Partial refunds possible up to 7 days before the start.

- Mentorship/Coaching: Refunds unavailable after the first session.

- Membership: Annual dues are non-refundable.

13. Disputes & Complaints

Concerns should be addressed in writing to [email protected]. Complaints will be acknowledged within 5 business days and resolved within 15 business days wherever possible.

14. Amendments

CCEI reserves the right to update this ToR at any time. Revised terms will be posted on our website and/or emailed to active participants and members.
